Sue Marrone, Optician
“I enjoy helping people choose the perfect frame for their personality and educating them about lens choices and features so they can make their own decision as to what will best suit their lifestyle.”
Licensed Optician, Sue Marrone, grew up in Central Massachusetts where she enjoyed playing sports, swimming, and horseback riding. After high school she went on to graduate from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Psychology, and while there she earned a black belt in Taekwondo.
She spent many years working in the field of dentistry, and then a mid-life career change found her in the optical world. She then entered into the 3-year apprenticeship program, resulting in attaining her license and becoming ABO and NCLE certified. Able to study and learn about her new craft on the job, Sue found that she really enjoyed helping people see better and wondered if this was the career path that she was meant to take all along. She states, “If I knew then what I know now about being a licensed optician, I would have been interested in the field at an earlier age.”
Luckily for her clients and Campbell, Cunningham, Taylor and Haun she continued to grow in her new career and joined the practice in 2012.
“I enjoy helping people choose the perfect frame for their personality and educating them about lens choices and features so they can make their own decision as to what will best suit their lifestyle,” she says.
Sue Marrone sees patients at our Farragut location.
